1. Saudi Aramco Announces World's Largest IPO


Recently Saudi Aramco has become the world's largest company in terms of raising money from IPOs. After the Aramco, China's Alibaba has raised the most money from the IPO. Alibaba raised $ 25 billion in 2014.

Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil company Aramco is one of the most important oil companies in the world. Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil company Aramco is the largest exporter of crude oil. There was a recent drone attack on Saudi Aramco's crude oil facility centers.

2. Nirav Modi: Declared second fugitive economic criminal after Vijay Mallya


Nirav Modi is the second businessman after Vijay Mallya to be declared a fugitive economic offender under the new Fugitive Economic Offenders Act 2018. Vijay Mallya was earlier declared as an economic criminal under this act.

Nirav Modi and his maternal uncle Mehul Chaksi are the main accused in the fraud case of about Rs 14,000 crore from Punjab National Bank (PNB). A case was filed against Nirav Modi in a case related to the scam in February 2017.

3. Sundar Pichai became CEO of Alphabet: From IIT Kharagpur to Google, know the journey of his life


The company has taken this decision after Google co-founder Larry Page resigned as CEO. Sundar Pichai will replace Larry Page, co-founder of the Internet giant. With this promotion, Sundar Pichai has become one of the most powerful corporate leaders in the world.

He joined Google in April 2004. He started working on product management and innovation as soon as he joined Google. He also worked in the development of Gmail and Google Maps. Sundar Pichai assumed the position of Google CEO on 02 October 2015.

4. Priyanka Chopra receives UNICEF's 'Humanitarian Award', know about this award


In June 2019, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) announced the name of Priyanka Chopra as the award winner of 2019. Priyanka Chopra is very active not only in the world of entertainment and fashion but also in social work.

Danny Kaye was awarded the Humanitarian Award from the Lions Club in the year 1974. Danny Kaye died on 03 March 1987. Priyanka Chopra has been associated with UNICEF as a goodwill ambassador for the last 15 years. He has now been awarded the UNICEF's 'Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award' for his work.

5. Now cheaper food will not be available in the canteen of Parliament House, the subsidy will end


According to media reports, the exemption given to MPs in Parliament on food can now be abolished soon. Now, MPs have to pay according to the cost of food. During the last Lok Sabha, the food price in the canteen was increased and the subsidy bill was reduced.

The subsidy received in the canteen of Parliament has been a part of any disputes. Recently, the Parliament canteen rate list was also viral. It has been seen that under subsidy, food was available at very low prices in the canteen of Parliament of MPs of the country.

6. Cabinet approves Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, know about this Bill


According to this bill, the rules related to the grant of citizenship will change and illegal migrants will get citizenship of bagger documents. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh recently said that the Citizenship Amendment Bill is one of the top priorities of the government.

The Citizenship Amendment Bill proposes to amend the Citizenship Act, 1955. Under this law, people who have entered India without passports and visas are considered illegal migrants. The main purpose of this bill amendment is to exempt illegal migrants in select categories.

7. Daman Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli Merger Bill passed in Parliament


The Rajya Sabha recently approved this bill. The bill was approved by the Lok Sabha on 27 November 2019. The name of the new union territory will be Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.

The two union territories are only 35 kilometers away from each other. But, both have separate budgets and have separate secretariats. Dadra and Nagar Haveli have only one district, while Daman and Diu have only two districts.

8. Chandrayaan 2: NASA found the site of Chandrayaan-2's Vikram Lander


A photo released by NASA shows an area with debris belonging to the vehicle, with debris appearing scattered at more than a dozen locations for several kilometers. According to NASA, Indian engineer Shanmuga Subramanian has given evidence related to the wreck to the agency.

According to the report, Shanmuga Subramanian reviewed the last known velocity and position of Vikram Lander. Subramanian approached the LRO project with positive identification of the debris. ISRO launched Chandrayaan-2 from Satish Dhawan Space Station in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh on 22 July 2019.

9. Who knows Soma Roy Burman, who became the 24th Comptroller and Auditor General of India


The Central Government has recently appointed Indian Civil Accounts Service Officer Soma Roy Burman as the new Comptroller and Auditor General. She had earlier held the post of Additional Controller General of Burman. Soma Roy Burman is the 24th Comptroller and Auditor General. She is the seventh woman to reach this position.

Soma Roy Burman is a 1986 batch Indian Civil Accounts Service officer. He has done M.Phil in Mathematical Statistics from Delhi University. The Controller General of Accounts is the principal advisor to the Central Government on accounting matters. They audit government-owned companies.

10. Know who all are Lieutenant Shivangi who became the first female pilot of the Indian Navy?


Sub-Lieutenant Shivangi recently joined the Indian Navy as the first female pilot. He joined the operational duty at Kochi Naval Base. According to Navy officials, Shivangi will fly Dornier Surveillance Aircraft.

Shivangi was included as a SAC (pilot) under the 27 NOC course at the Indian Naval Academy. Vice Admiral A.K. Chawla formally commissioned him in June 2018. Shivangi is a resident of Muzaffarpur in Bihar.
